Nickel allergy is the most common contact allergy. Our products are free of nickel and cobalt.
What is it?
Nickel can occur as a contaminant in cosmetic pigments. For people with a nickel allergy, even a tiny amount can cause a reaction, especially in eyeshadow and foundation that stay on the skin for long periods.
Why do we exclude it?
Nickel allergy is estimated to affect 10 to 15% of women. The symptoms (itching, redness, blisters) can be severe and affect daily life. We test all our products for nickel and cobalt content.
What do we use instead?
Our pigments are carefully selected and tested to ensure they are free of nickel and cobalt as contaminants.
