How do you apply mascara?

Mascara may make the biggest difference in your make-up routine. But for people with sensitive eyes or contact lenses, it can also be a source of irritation. In this tutorial you'll learn how to best apply our hypoallergenic mascara.
Preparation
Make sure your lashes are clean and grease-free. If you wear contact lenses, always put them in before applying mascara. This prevents mascara particles from getting under your lenses.
Apply in three steps
1. Start at the lash root and wiggle the wand gently from left to right while pulling upwards. This creates volume at the base.
2. Pull the wand through in one smooth movement towards the tips for length.
3. Apply a second coat before the first one is fully dry. This prevents clumping.
Lower lashes
Hold the wand vertically and use only the tip to coat your lower lashes. Less is more here.
Tips for lens wearers
Always choose a tubing mascara or one specifically developed for sensitive eyes. Our mascara is ophthalmologically tested and safe for contact lens wearers. Replace your mascara every three months for optimal hygiene.
