Blue-green eye shadow look

A blue-green eye shadow look is perfect when you want something a bit more than your everyday make-up. In this tutorial we show you how to create a striking but wearable look with our hypoallergenic eye shadows.

What do you need?

For this look you'll use a light base colour, a blue-green eye shadow for the moving lid and a darker shade for the crease. Plus a blending brush and a flat brush to apply.

Step 1: Base

Apply a light, matte eye shadow as a base across the whole lid. This helps the colours blend better and last longer.

Step 2: Main colour

Apply the blue-green eye shadow on the moving lid with a flat brush. Press the colour in for maximum colour payoff rather than swiping.

Step 3: Crease

Apply a slightly darker shade in your crease with a blending brush. Use windscreen-wiper motions so the colours blend seamlessly into each other.

Step 4: Finish

Highlight the inner eye corner and the centre of your lid with a light shimmer. This adds dimension to the look. Finish with mascara and optionally a line of eye pencil.
